Throw away those boring old business cards – you *have* to see this.
I had the pleasure of meeting Jess Vento at the first annual Sage Summit Tweet-up (it was tweet-tastic according to @AzambaDavid). Not only was Jess fun, engaging and positive-minded but she also had something cool to hand out: business cards for a new era.
These things resemble collectible baseball cards and have social media connection information on them. I don’t have any yet but I imagine they make you feel (and look) like a super-star as you hand them out.
I asked Jess to provide some more information on them:
So, I showed up to Sage Summit with business cards. But not just any cards and I’m pretty sure I’m the only person with this type of card. They are Meet-Meme cards. Their tagline in their twitter profile is ‘We’re an online you in an offline trading card.’
There are a few things I love about these cards. The company is local to Milwaukee – you know, where I’m from. This card gives me the opportunity to tell you not only my contact information but also a little bit about myself. For example, my special power is juggling. If you know me or have seen what my job title entails, you’ll understand. There is a QR code on the card – giving you the opportunity to connect with me by whatever means you are comfortable with. You can view our company website, email or call me, connect via Twitter or LinkedIn. The cards are the size of a trading card, and the best part…it has my picture on it, which puts a face with the name.
Wanna see one? Come find me, I’ll be at Sage Summit until Friday, or view my card at http://mtme.me/c68313
Want some cards of your own, for your company, or for an event? Check out https://www.meet-meme.com/ or follow them on Twitter @MeetMeme and tell them @sunshinejess22 sent ya!

I recommend you find Jess at the museum tonight or at Summit Thursday or Friday. Go up and say “hi” (she seems like a friendly sort) and ask to see her card. The online version doesn’t do the real-life version justice.
Thanks for the information Jess!
