While you’re at Sage Summit 2011 one of the best ways to receive current news about the conference is subscribe to the official Sage Summit Twitter feed. This feed contains important updates and announcements related to the conference and there’s a way you can send all these alerts to your cell phone via SMS text messaging.

Sage Summit 2011 is less than a week away. I’ve learned that once I hit the conference floor it’s darn near impossible to locate friends and colleagues. In the past we’ve all attempted to coordinate group meetings and alert colleagues to cool exhibits by sending email messages.
The problem with emails is there is often a delay for anyone without a smartphone. Also email tends to get buried by other emails being sent during the day and can be easy to overlook. That’s why we’ve started to coordinate our group activities with SMS text messages.
