Call for Entertainers – Sage Summit 2012

It’s almost that time of year when Sage eagerly seeks out partner and employees to perform at their Sage Summit 2012 partner conference.

Last year featured a full event night of entertainment provided by Sage employees and partners – including this from Ed Kless and this from Apryl Hanson and the SageTones. Interested? Check LinkedIN for more details on how to apply to entertain the drunken masses..

Until then, who’s up for practicing -and performing this as the Sage Hill Gang??

Sage Summit 2012 Save the Date announcement

I’m not sure but this might be the earliest I’ve ever seen a save the date for the annual Sage conference.

It will be held over August 12 – 17th at the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville TN and will be a combined Partner and Customer conference like Sage Summit 2011. It looks like the well appreciated Sage / Sage partner community-built bands will be back to rock out at the conference.

The new web site with more details will be launching in December. I’m sure we are all looking forward to finding out more information as it becomes available.

Where is Sage Summit 2012? See You In Nashville!

Next year’s Sage Summit moves one month ahead to August 12-17, 2012. The conference will once again be hosted at the Gaylord Hotels – returning to the Nashville TN location which had been devastated in May 2010 by severe flooding.

The hotel has been completely refurbished with lifejackets now provided in every room.

As you may recall the Gaylord Nashville is directly next to the famed Grand Ole Opry .

My 2012 Sage Summit Entertainment Wish List

I am going to start my 2012 entertainment lobbying based on seeing lots of acts at the free Mohegan Sun Wolf Den during the last year. Luckily they’re pretty lenient about capturing video – so I have some samples to share as well.

1. Lou Gramm – This is essentially Foreigner. Just wipe from your mind that he doesn’t look the same and barely moves on stage. There’s something great about hearing all those hit songs (for some reason he won’t play Urgent). He has enough music to fill the show (unlike Vanilla Ice who barely makes 35 minutes and MC Hammer who plays 15 minutes of intro music and has people dance for 15 minutes at the end of the show).
